內容概要

外貿業(yè)務活動需要大量能運用英語進行工作的專業(yè)人才，長期以來我國外貿人才的培養(yǎng)存在著英語語言和專業(yè)知識、技能相分離的狀況。為了實現(xiàn)人才培養(yǎng)與實際工作需要的緊密對接，我們特編寫了這本國際貿易實務英語版教材，旨在通過在英語環(huán)境下進行外貿知識學習和技能操練，學生能夠實現(xiàn)知識、能力、語言的融合，為其以后在國際貿易領域的職業(yè)發(fā)展打下基礎?！　≡诒窘滩木帉戇^程中，我們就外貿業(yè)務活動對人才的知識和技能的實際要求進行了調研，并參考了國內外有關國際貿易實務教學的各種理論，本著“實用、好用”的原則進行內容的選擇、編寫和體例設計。作為一本國際貿易實務的英語版教材，本教材具有以下特色：　　第一，內容現(xiàn)實實用。本教材內容的選擇主要依據(jù)外貿業(yè)務對知識和內容的具體要求，而并不拘泥于知識體系內在的邏輯，同時在內容選擇上充分考慮外貿業(yè)務活動的新趨勢和新要求，使教材具有鮮明的現(xiàn)實感。在知識和技能的平衡上，更多傾向于學生實際技能的培養(yǎng)?！　〉诙?，體例新穎生動。本教材在內容編排上，采用了大量圖形、表格，使抽象的國際貿易知識變得生動形象。在知識的呈現(xiàn)中穿插了豐富的案例，通過案例拉近學生與抽象知識間的距離。

插圖：Generally, the insured shall present an Application for Insurance to arrange insurance for the cargo. The format of the Application for Insurance varies from insurer to insurer, but the contents remain basically the same. The main contents of an Application for Insurance may include: the name of the insured, the name of the cargo, the packing and quantity of the cargo, the shipping mark, the insured amount, the vessel name, the sailing date, the sailing route, the insurance coverage and the place of claim. The Application for Insurance is a statement of the related information about the cargo and the basis on which the insurance company decides on the premium and issues the insurance policy. The information provided in the Application shall be correct and true.
