內(nèi)容概要

《法律英語》(第二版)是一本法律專業(yè)英語教材，供具有大學英語三級以上英語水平的法律系學生及法律工作者使用。編寫這套教材的宗旨是使其既具有法律內(nèi)容上的系統(tǒng)性，又在語言上由淺入深，循序漸進，具有外語教材所必備的可操作性。     本教材的八個單元，簡明而完整地介紹了美國法律的八個部分：導論、憲法、民事訴訟、財產(chǎn)、合同、票據(jù)、公司、侵權(quán)。每單元有若干篇課文，并配有大量口筆頭練習，旨在幫助學生熟練掌握課文內(nèi)容。此外，每單元還配有較多的案例閱讀材料，以助學生深化對課文的理解。   使用本教材可達到一舉兩得的效果：取得對美國的司法制度及主要的民事商事法律的初步了解，并掌握基本的法律詞匯和概念的英語表述。因此，對于有志于日后從事涉外業(yè)務(wù)的法律專業(yè)的學生和法律工作者，它將是一本不可多得的理想教材。

作者簡介

董世忠，男，l934年生，瑞士日內(nèi)瓦高等國際研究院國際經(jīng)濟碩士，曾任中國出席聯(lián)合國第三次海洋法會議和聯(lián)合國關(guān)于常規(guī)武器裁軍會議代表團法律顧問，美國哈佛大學法學院、柏克萊加州大學法學院客座教授，復旦大學法律系主任等職。現(xiàn)任中國國際經(jīng)濟法學會副會長、關(guān)稅與貿(mào)易總
