  •   我自己本身是職業(yè)做場論的研究員,以前當(dāng)學(xué)生的時(shí)候試著自學(xué)量子場論,翻過很多本standard的教科書,看過的書。。。說實(shí)在都很失望,大多的場論書花非常大篇幅去教你technical detail,學(xué)完以后你還是不會理解"****tum field"到底是什么東西,或是為什么必須要用這種語言來描述elementary particles。即使在做學(xué)術(shù)的圈子里,一提到weinberg 的三部場論書普遍的評價(jià)都是"非常難"、"這套書是寫給頂尖聰明學(xué)生念的"...之類的話,但weinberg的approach神奇的地方就在于他用最誠實(shí)、邏輯上最直接(雖然的確有些深度)的方式直線引領(lǐng)你到問題的核心,從零開始一磚一瓦的建構(gòu)場論,同時(shí)也回答了"為什么我們很自然會推導(dǎo)出量子場這種語言"的問題。我想一個(gè)對高能理論有熱情的學(xué)生看了weinberg的三本場論絕對是不會后悔的。整套書充滿了original ideas,所有的討論都有非常清晰的物理圖像在里面,強(qiáng)烈推薦大家看這套書!!!
