　　Zhou Enlai was born in Huaian， Jiangsu， on March 5， 1898. In 1917，he finished school in Nankai Middle School， and then went to France to learnMarxist Theory.　In 1922， he joined the Communist Party of China.　Afterthat， he was active in his work and directed the Party work in Shanghai.　　He led the famous uprising——Nanchang Uprising on August 1， 1927.Then he took part in the Long March.　From 1937 to 1945， he worked inSouth China. After the Peoples Republic of China was founded， he was elec-ted Premier of China.　　Premier Zhou was well educated in his youth， which made him a man ofhigh quality. Premier Zhou is not only a smart man， but also a very kind per-son. Actually， he was kind to everyone around him， whether they were im-portant person or average ones， and meanwhile he cared much for others butlittle for himself. Besides his kindness， he is also famous as one of the mosteloquent statesmans at home and abroad. Many of the most difficult problemsin China and the world were solved by him. What deeply affect me is that allthrough his life， Premier Zhou led a simple life. Never did he took advantagesof his position to benefit himself or his family. He put all his heart into thework and always worked until midnight. He had no time to think about him-self， but only the Chinese people.
