研究生和本科層次的商務(wù)英語(yǔ)教材適用于全國(guó)各高等院校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的商務(wù)英語(yǔ)方向或國(guó)際貿(mào)易、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)際工商管理等商科專業(yè)的學(xué)生。
高職高專層次的商務(wù)英語(yǔ)教材適用于全國(guó)高職高專院校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的商務(wù)/應(yīng)用/外貿(mào)英語(yǔ)方向以及國(guó)際貿(mào)易或財(cái)經(jīng)類專業(yè)的學(xué)生。
根據(jù)國(guó)家教育指導(dǎo)思想,目前我國(guó)高職高專教育的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)是以能力培養(yǎng)和技術(shù)應(yīng)用為本位,其基礎(chǔ)理論教學(xué)以應(yīng)用為目的、夠用為尺度、就業(yè)為導(dǎo)向:教材強(qiáng)調(diào)應(yīng)用性和適用性,符合高職高專教育的特點(diǎn),既能滿足學(xué)科教育又能滿足職業(yè)資格教育的“雙證書”(畢業(yè)證和技術(shù)等級(jí)證)教學(xué)的需要。本套教材編寫始終貫徹商務(wù)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的基本思路:將英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫譯技能與商務(wù)知識(shí)有機(jī)融合,使學(xué)生在提高英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言技能的同時(shí)了解有關(guān)商務(wù)知識(shí),造就學(xué)生“兩條腿走路”的本領(lǐng),培養(yǎng)以商務(wù)知識(shí)為底蘊(yùn)、語(yǔ)言技能為依托的新時(shí)代復(fù)合型、實(shí)用型人才。

  Teamwork is as vital for successful companies as it is for successful football teams.But little attempt has been made to measure its contribution to the economy,or the cost of its absence.Perhaps it iS time to pay more arention to this invisible asset.  Reliance on teamwork is so universal that it may pass unrecognized.Traditional economictheory allocates a place in production to physical capital,the quantity of labour,and increasingly also to the quality of labour-human capital.Yet“social capital made up of the networks andnorms that underpin most types of economic and indeed social activitve is apparently ignored. In recent years a stream of research has sought to define and measure the myriad ways inwhich established norms and social networks support and underpin social and economicactivity.On the economic side,for example,the level of trust in Italian regions has been shown to be linked to the effective use of credit while local social networks have been shown to playan important role in helping people to find jobs in many European countries. Another strand of research connects social capital with noneconomic outcomes,including better health,education,government and child welfare,and lower crime.A major US study argues that the physical health of someone who belongs to no social group and then joins one will improve so much that his risk of dying will be cut in half,while research in Sweden suggests that social connected less reduces the risk of Alzheimer's disease.This apparently magical panacea for social ills has even been shown to be connected to happiness itselfi Despite enthusiasm for the concept of social capital in both academic,and increasingly inpolitical circles,the idea remains fraught with difficulty.The term is used to cover manydifferent things,with some extending it to include institutions such as the legal system,although most would limit its application to informal norms and social networks.And despitetantalizing indications,no one has yet been able to prove that social capital increases economicoutput.This could be because it has been difcult to agree on how social capital should bemeasured,but it might also be because economic dynamism sometimes requires,alongside team-work,the kind of tough competition and radical innovation which threaten established networks and norms.   ……
