內(nèi)容概要

畫風(fēng)非常有趣，故事講述了一直饑餓的衰老的老虎，為了吃到東西，冒充一張虎皮，被富人家鋪到了客廳。情節(jié)很滑稽。夜晚，每當(dāng)富人的宴飲結(jié)束，老虎就把剩下的吃的一掃而光。慢慢的，老虎長胖了，很難再偽裝成一張虎“皮”趴在地上；正在這種尷尬的時候，強盜闖了進(jìn)來......

作者簡介

Gerald Rose was born in Hong
Kong. When the Second World War started, his
father
became a prisoner of war, and
Gerald and his mother were interned in a civilian
camp,
which was where he saw his
first live tiger.
Frustrated by the dearth of
good illustrated books for children, his wife, Elizabeth,
helped
him to write and illustrate a
number of books. Gerald won the Kate Greenaway Medal
in
1960 for Old Winkle and
the Seagulls and won the Premio Critici in 1979 in Erba, Italy
for
‘Ahhh!' Said
Stork. Gerald now lives in
Hove, East Sussex.
