英語(yǔ)綜合練習(xí)3

前言

　　《英語(yǔ)》（高職高專版）系列教材是根據(jù)教育部2000年頒發(fā)的《高職高專英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)基本要求（試行）》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱《基本要求》）編寫的，是“教育部高職高專規(guī)劃教材”。本套教材的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在中國(guó)環(huán)境下使用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行涉外交際的能力。具體涉及四個(gè)方面：1.使學(xué)生掌握一定的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和技能，2.使學(xué)生具有閱讀和翻譯有關(guān)業(yè)務(wù)英語(yǔ)資料的能力，3.訓(xùn)練學(xué)生進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的日常和涉外會(huì)話的初步能力；4.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生模擬套寫簡(jiǎn)單信函等涉外業(yè)務(wù)應(yīng)用文的能力。　　本套教材由主教材《英語(yǔ)》1－4冊(cè)、《英語(yǔ)綜合練習(xí)》1-4冊(cè)及《英語(yǔ)教師參考書》1-4冊(cè)組成。每?jī)?cè)學(xué)生用書均配有錄音磁帶。　　《英語(yǔ)》第一冊(cè)為預(yù)備教材，詞匯起點(diǎn)為800詞，主要目的是幫助英語(yǔ)水平低于《基本要求》規(guī)定的學(xué)生，復(fù)習(xí)鞏固中學(xué)階段已學(xué)過(guò)的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)法、詞匯，為進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)打下基礎(chǔ)。為了便于初學(xué)者使用本書，書后附有基本語(yǔ)音知識(shí)、基本語(yǔ)法知識(shí)和基本詞匯。

內(nèi)容概要

《英語(yǔ)》（高職高專版）系列教材是“教育部高職高專規(guī)劃教材”，供高職高專非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)低起點(diǎn)學(xué)生使用，2000年正式出版發(fā)行。為使本套教材更趨完善，編寫組結(jié)合這幾年使用《英語(yǔ)》的教學(xué)情況對(duì)《英語(yǔ)》（高職高專版）進(jìn)行了修訂，修訂后的《英語(yǔ)》（高職高專版）（第二版）更貼近2000年教育部頒布的《高職高專教育英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)基本要求（試行）》，更能將學(xué)生語(yǔ)言基本功的訓(xùn)練與實(shí)際的涉外活動(dòng)結(jié)合起來(lái)。    本書為《英語(yǔ)綜合練習(xí)3》（第二版）。內(nèi)容包括與《英語(yǔ)3》（第二版）中10個(gè)單元同步的自學(xué)練習(xí)及其答案、同步練習(xí)中全部課文的參考譯文及詞匯表。同步練習(xí)的各個(gè)單元，通過(guò)形式多樣的練習(xí)、重點(diǎn)訓(xùn)練主教材出現(xiàn)的詞匯、結(jié)構(gòu)，以提高學(xué)生聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫、譯等各項(xiàng)技能。書中還有2套白測(cè)試題，便于學(xué)生自檢、自測(cè)。

　　Mike was a farmer who lived in a village far away.One day he becamevery ill and everyone thought he would die.They sent for a doctor，who arrivedtwo days later and examined the sick man.The doctor asked for a pen and somepaper to write down the name of the medicine.But there was no pen or paperin the village，because no one could read or write。The doctor picked up a piece of burned wood from the fire.Using thewood，he wrote the name of the medicine on the door of the house.“Get thismedicine for him，”he said，“and he will soon get better.”Mike’S family and friends did not know what to do.They could not readthe strange writing.Then the village baker had an idea.He took off the doorof the house，put it on his cart and drove to the nearest town.He bought themedicine and Mike was soon well again.He would not let anyone wash themagic words from the door.
