內(nèi)容概要

外教社全面貫徹教育部關(guān)于《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》的精神，策劃推出適合各高校師生選用的大學(xué)英語(yǔ)提高階段實(shí)用型選修課系列教材，包括語(yǔ)言技能類(lèi)、應(yīng)用類(lèi)、語(yǔ)言文化類(lèi)和專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)類(lèi)等課程。    本書(shū)主要取材于國(guó)內(nèi)外報(bào)刊雜志中有關(guān)中國(guó)社會(huì)和文化的介紹性文章，以具有中國(guó)特色的文化現(xiàn)象為主線，通過(guò)閱讀和課堂討論，消除學(xué)生在向外國(guó)友人介紹中國(guó)文化時(shí)經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)言障礙。本教材可以：    增進(jìn)學(xué)生對(duì)中國(guó)社會(huì)和文化的一些基本特征和基本概念的理解；    幫助學(xué)生提高英語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。通過(guò)閱讀與討論，學(xué)會(huì)如何用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)中國(guó)的社會(huì)和文化現(xiàn)象；    幫助學(xué)生增進(jìn)對(duì)自身文化的理解，進(jìn)一步提高跨文化交際的能力。
