內(nèi)容概要

本教材按照教育部高等教育司《高職高專教育英語課程教學(xué)基本要求》編寫， 貫徹聽說領(lǐng)先的原則，重在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生實(shí)際使用英語進(jìn)行交際的能力，同時(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生較強(qiáng)的閱讀能力，并兼顧寫作、翻譯等各項(xiàng)能力的發(fā)展，使學(xué)生具備以英語為工具，捕捉和獲取所需信息的能力，為學(xué)習(xí)各種專業(yè)英語打下堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)。    本教材共分四冊，語言材料大部分選自原文材料，具有較強(qiáng)的思想性、科學(xué)性、知識性、趣味性和實(shí)用性。第一、二冊的內(nèi)容以共核英語為主（Common Core English）為主，第三、四冊適當(dāng)增加科普和人文內(nèi)容的比例。學(xué)生學(xué)完第三冊后可以達(dá)到《高職高專教育英語課程教學(xué)基本要求》所規(guī)定的B級要求，學(xué)完第四冊后可以達(dá)到《高職高專教育英語課程教學(xué)基本要求》所規(guī)定的A級要求。
