內(nèi)容概要

　　《中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史略（英文版）》是中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史研究的奠基性著作，作者首次在研究中使用了“現(xiàn)代文學(xué)”這一稱謂，對中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)研究成為一門獨立的學(xué)科做出了極大的貢獻。作者并不局限于以文論文，以詩論詩，而是筆涉文學(xué)，意寄興亡，從寬廣的歷史背景中，尋求和探索這一時期“文章得失升降之故”抒發(fā)出深沉的歷史感慨。
