前言
中國悠久的歷史文化和遼闊的疆域奠定了中國旅游資源大國的堅實地位。中國文化更以其獨特的魅力吸引了無數(shù)海內(nèi)外的旅游者。2008年北京奧運(yùn)會的臨近更為我國的旅游業(yè)帶來了更多的發(fā)展機(jī)遇,同時對我國的旅游教育事業(yè)提出了新的要求,特別是培養(yǎng)出高素質(zhì)專業(yè)化的旅游外語人才的要求。為了適應(yīng)新的形勢,滿足旅游服務(wù)人才培養(yǎng)以及導(dǎo)游翻譯人員培訓(xùn)的實際需要,中等職業(yè)教材編寫組編寫了本教材。本教材構(gòu)思新穎,內(nèi)容豐富,實用性強(qiáng),把情景對話和旅游景點介紹結(jié)合起來。對話部分突出交際能力的培養(yǎng),并且全面介紹了涉外導(dǎo)游工作的各個程序,包括機(jī)場迎客,致歡迎詞,行程安排,登記入住,在酒店,游覽景點,用中餐,結(jié)帳退房,致歡送詞,處理突發(fā)事件和投訴等;景點介紹部分,注重提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力并擴(kuò)大知識面,主要包括山川游,古跡游,博物館游,城市游,古鎮(zhèn)游等。 每個單元包括:Situational Dialogues,Useful Patterns,Tourism and Travel,Words and ExpressiOIlS,Notes,IntroductiOn 0f Scenic Spots,Exercises,Tips forFour Guides等部分。各個部分的特點最說明如下: Situational Dialogues:會話部分的內(nèi)容均為導(dǎo)游服務(wù)所涉及到的日常英語對話,為讀者提供真實情景和地道的英語表達(dá)。Useful Patterns:常用句型為讀者歸納總結(jié)了本交際場合經(jīng)常用到的英語句型。Tourism and Travel:旅游業(yè)和旅游部分以地道的表達(dá)為讀者講解旅游業(yè)的一些基本概念,旅游業(yè)的最新發(fā)展,導(dǎo)游的職責(zé)等與旅游業(yè)和導(dǎo)游相關(guān)的知識。 Words and Fapressions:單詞和表達(dá)部分為讀者列出文中出現(xiàn)的專業(yè)詞匯和景點的英文名稱,便于讀者查找學(xué)習(xí)。 Notes:注釋部分主要講解文中出現(xiàn)的難句和長句,為讀者排除閱讀障礙。
