新世紀(jì)新編大學(xué)英語(yǔ)（第4冊(cè)）

前言

　　教育部2007年頒布了《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)《教學(xué)要求》），對(duì)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)目標(biāo)做出了定性、定量的要求，并將大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)分為三個(gè)層次：一般要求、較高要求和更高要求?！　∮⒄Z(yǔ)快速閱讀能力的培養(yǎng)與提高是大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的重要內(nèi)容，也是衡量大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)水平高低的重要指標(biāo)。為進(jìn)一步深化大學(xué)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)改革，提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量，應(yīng)對(duì)新形勢(shì)、新挑戰(zhàn)，我們依據(jù)教育部2007年的《教學(xué)要求》，以外語(yǔ)教學(xué)理論為指導(dǎo)，以英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)與應(yīng)用技能、跨文化交際和學(xué)習(xí)策略為主要內(nèi)容，編寫(xiě)了這套《新世紀(jì)新編大學(xué)英語(yǔ)快速閱讀》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)《快速閱讀》）。本套教材有助于學(xué)生在就業(yè)時(shí)和將來(lái)的工作、生活以及社會(huì)交往中，運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行有效的口頭和書(shū)面交流，同時(shí)增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力，提高綜合文化素養(yǎng)。
