視聽說教程4

前言

　　2004年1月，教育部頒布了《大學英語課程教學要求（試行）》，將大學英語的教學目標確定為“培養(yǎng)學生的英語綜合應(yīng)用能力，特別是聽說能力，使他們在今后工作和社會交往中能用英語有效地進行口頭和書面的信息交流，同時增強其自主學習能力，提高綜合文化素養(yǎng)，以適應(yīng)我國社會發(fā)展和國際交流的需要”，提出了分層次（即“一般要求”、“較高要求”和“更高要求”）和分類指導的教學要求。與此同時，教育部在全國180所院校開展多媒體網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學的試點，推廣具有個性化學習特征的多媒體阿絡(luò)教學系統(tǒng)，并于2005年2月頒布了《全國大學英語四、六級考試改革方案（試行）》。2007年7月又下發(fā)了修訂后的《大學英語課程教學要求》。這些舉措進一步推動了我國高校大學英語教學全方位的改革和教學質(zhì)量的全面提升。新世紀的教學改革呼喚新的教材不斷誕生。這既是時代的召喚，也是歷史的必然。　　正是在這樣的時代背景下，上海外語教育出版社于2004年初組織全國數(shù)十所高校啟動了“新世紀大學英語系列教材”建設(shè)項目。項目開始之初，外教社以書面問卷、個別訪談和集體座談等形式在全國數(shù)十所高校中進行了廣泛的調(diào)查研究，并請專家對編寫方案進行了多次論證。在上海外語教育出版社莊智象社長的直接領(lǐng)導和籌劃下，經(jīng)過三年多的努力，我們編寫了這套“新世紀大學英語系列教材”，力圖為新世紀形勢下的我國大學英語教材建設(shè)作出新的嘗試和努力。經(jīng)教育部認定，這套教材已被列入“普通高等教育‘十一五’國家級規(guī)劃教材”?！　≡诰帉戇^程中，我們力求體現(xiàn)以下一些編寫理念和特色：　?。ㄒ唬﹫猿秩吮局髁x教育觀。在確立“新世紀大學英語系列教材”的指導思想時，我們強調(diào)教學過程中的人的因素，強調(diào)“以學生為中心”，重視開發(fā)學習者的自我潛能，注重“情感”和“態(tài)度”在學習活動中的作用和力量，力圖使學生成為“自我實現(xiàn)者”。與此同時，我們認為，教師必須在課堂內(nèi)外發(fā)揮指導作用，指導學生學會學習。　?。ǘ┳鹬赝庹Z教學的普遍規(guī)律和在國內(nèi)學習英語的客觀條件，充分考慮“人”、“語言”和“社會”之間存在的互為依存、互動互促、密不可分的關(guān)系，開拓學習者的跨文化交際視野，讓學生置身于廣闊的社會文化情景之中，養(yǎng)成用英語進行思維的習慣，做到學有所思、思有所得、得有所用，從而不再感到英語是身外之物，實現(xiàn)英語綜合運用能力和學習者人格、素質(zhì)的同步提升?！　。ㄈ┝⒆銍?，博采眾長，充分吸收我國外語教學長期積累下來的寶貴經(jīng)驗和行之有效的教學方法，全面而辨證地審視國外盛行的教學理念，汲取其精髓和內(nèi)涵，兼收并蓄地注入我們的教學理念中，確保教材具有更好的系統(tǒng)性、科學性、完整性、針對性和實用性?！　。ㄋ模┤媛鋵崱洞髮W英語課程教學要求》提出的教學原則、教學內(nèi)容和所倡導的教學方法，確?！胺謱哟谓虒W”和“分類指導”的落實，讓不同地區(qū)、不同群體、不同層次乃至不同時期的學習者各盡其能、各取所需地選用學習資源。為此，系列教材的主干教程共分8冊，旨在實現(xiàn)“一般要求”（1-4冊）、“較高要求”（3-6冊）和“更高要求”（5-8冊）的學習目標。不同類別的學?？筛鶕?jù)各自的情況從中選擇各自的教學起點。

內(nèi)容概要
