前言

　　由黃源深、虞蘇美為總主編，鄒為誠(chéng)為主編，高等教育出版社出版的《綜合英語(yǔ)教程》（第二版）自出版發(fā)行以來(lái)，深受學(xué)者、專家們的好評(píng)，更受普通高校，特別是西部地區(qū)高校，英語(yǔ)專業(yè)低年級(jí)師生的喜愛(ài)?！督坛獭纺壳耙言趶V大西部地區(qū)二本學(xué)校的基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)中被廣泛使用。使用過(guò)該教材的師生在稱贊其全新的編寫模式和理念的同時(shí)，也深感面臨語(yǔ)言能力和語(yǔ)用能力上的挑戰(zhàn)。尤其對(duì)于那些來(lái)自農(nóng)村地區(qū)及西部欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，上述兩大挑戰(zhàn)的感受更為強(qiáng)烈。在此背景下，由吳樹(shù)奇老師主編的教輔用書(shū)《綜合英語(yǔ)教程1學(xué)習(xí)指南》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱《指南》）即將付梓。我相信它的出版發(fā)行能有助于廣大師生更好使用《教程l》，尤其是有助于應(yīng)付上述兩大挑戰(zhàn)，在有限教學(xué)時(shí)間內(nèi)保質(zhì)、保量地完成《教程l》規(guī)定的教學(xué)任務(wù)?！　】v觀《指南1》書(shū)中的各大輔導(dǎo)板塊，不難發(fā)現(xiàn)該書(shū)有以下幾個(gè)特點(diǎn)?！　∫?、針對(duì)性強(qiáng)　　《指南1》基于教授《教程1》的一線教師幾年來(lái)的教案，其輔導(dǎo)板塊的設(shè)計(jì)、輔導(dǎo)內(nèi)容的挑選、對(duì)講解的難易程度的把握等均針對(duì)語(yǔ)言能力、語(yǔ)用能力不太強(qiáng)的西部二本學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生及社會(huì)自學(xué)人士。對(duì)以上學(xué)生而言，做到“脫口而出”并非易事，《指南1》各單元的模擬對(duì)話可助學(xué)生縮短準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間，稍作替換便可進(jìn)入口語(yǔ)活動(dòng)。這樣可以逐步提高學(xué)生的語(yǔ)用能力。另外，《指南1》的第二、三部分提供的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)注解可以幫助學(xué)生打牢語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)，逐步提高他們的語(yǔ)言能力。二、時(shí)代氣息濃　　《指南1》中編選的一些語(yǔ)言材料與時(shí)俱進(jìn)。在輔導(dǎo)學(xué)生“說(shuō)”的過(guò)程中，編者自然引出一些現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中正在發(fā)生的事，如“世博會(huì)”等。這有助于學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言的同時(shí)也能把握時(shí)代的“脈搏”，提高他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性?！　∪U(kuò)展型學(xué)習(xí)和傳統(tǒng)型學(xué)習(xí)兼顧　　《指南1》全書(shū)在輔導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程中，較好地處理了擴(kuò)展型學(xué)習(xí)和傳統(tǒng)型學(xué)習(xí)的關(guān)系。首先，各單元有大量注釋可擴(kuò)大學(xué)生的知識(shí)面及應(yīng)用能力。如“說(shuō)”的部分給學(xué)生增補(bǔ)了國(guó)內(nèi)一些名勝的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)；“讀”的部分有大量的背景知識(shí)介紹和作品分析：“寫”的部分所提供的范文涉及到除英、美之外的其它國(guó)家的文化風(fēng)情。與此同時(shí)，《指南1》也注重傳統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí)方式。如各單元的詞匯注釋可幫助學(xué)生全面地掌握這些重點(diǎn)單詞和習(xí)慣用語(yǔ)，提高他們的語(yǔ)言悟性?！　¤b于《指南1》的以上三大特點(diǎn)，我想該書(shū)一定會(huì)得到使用和學(xué)習(xí)《教程1》的師生的認(rèn)可。誠(chéng)然，《指南l》非名家大作，但對(duì)這些長(zhǎng)期在一線教學(xué)的教師能積極參加教研、主動(dòng)為學(xué)生著想本人表示欽佩和贊賞。雖然他們的作品中可能會(huì)有不足之處，有的問(wèn)題可能考慮得還不夠周密，鑒于他們積極的工作態(tài)度，這些都是可以諒解的。

內(nèi)容概要

《綜合英語(yǔ)教程l（第二版）學(xué)習(xí)指南》是《綜合英語(yǔ)教程1（第二版）》（黃源深、虞蘇美總主編，鄒為誠(chéng)主編）的教學(xué)輔助用書(shū)。    該書(shū)分“說(shuō)、讀、寫”三大板塊對(duì)《教程》的學(xué)習(xí)和使用進(jìn)行輔導(dǎo)。在“說(shuō)”板塊，編者根據(jù)《教程》的交際要求，編寫了兩篇以上模擬對(duì)話（Made-up Conversations），對(duì)話反映的內(nèi)容與時(shí)俱進(jìn)。在“讀”板塊，編者重點(diǎn)對(duì)學(xué)生閱讀能力的提高進(jìn)行了“課文分析”（TextAnalysis）、“課文l背景注釋和語(yǔ)言難點(diǎn)中英文解釋”（Notes to the Text）、“語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)講解”（Language Points in the Text）、“課文參考譯文”（Reference Chinese Versions of the Texts）。在“寫”板塊，外籍參編人員根據(jù)《教程》要求就全書(shū)l 5個(gè)單元的句子寫作給出了參考答案并寫出了15篇以上短文（Sample Writing）。最后還提供了一些重要練習(xí)和有一定難度的練習(xí)的參考答案（Keys to the Exercises）。
