“劍橋國(guó)別簡(jiǎn)史叢書”是劍橋大學(xué)出版社自20世紀(jì)八九十年代始陸續(xù)推出的一套插圖版國(guó)家簡(jiǎn)史叢書。叢書作者均為英國(guó)、美國(guó)、澳大利亞等國(guó)的歷史學(xué)教授或知名專家。他們用通俗易懂的語(yǔ)言向讀者介紹了所述國(guó)家的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化和社會(huì)歷史變遷。圖書權(quán)威、通俗，可讀性強(qiáng)。叢書出版后獲得了巨大成功，有的品種重印多達(dá)10余次。我社從中精選10本奉獻(xiàn)給讀者。    《墨西哥簡(jiǎn)史》為叢書中的一本，介紹了墨西哥從公元前1000多年奧爾梅克人最早定居、1915年西班牙殖民者入侵、1821年獲得獨(dú)立、1910年資產(chǎn)階級(jí)民主革命爆發(fā)至2000年一黨執(zhí)政局面的結(jié)束長(zhǎng)達(dá)3000多年的歷史，描繪了這期間墨西哥國(guó)內(nèi)各種宗教文化因素、政治經(jīng)濟(jì)派別以及社會(huì)各階層之間的矛盾沖突與歷史推進(jìn)的關(guān)系，對(duì)其與最大鄰國(guó)——美國(guó)的關(guān)系也作了著重?cái)⑹觥?/pre>


作者簡(jiǎn)介
布賴恩·海姆奈特：英國(guó)埃塞克斯大學(xué)專門研究拉丁美洲歷史的教授，研究領(lǐng)域涉及拉丁美洲和伊比利亞半島國(guó)家。他尤其專注對(duì)墨西哥的研究，近作包括對(duì)墨西哥殖民時(shí)代后期、其獨(dú)立進(jìn)程以及貝尼托·華雷斯政治生涯的研究。
