前言

  隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化步伐的加快,中國與世界各國的經(jīng)貿(mào)往來日趨頻繁,對從事外經(jīng)貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)的人才的需求日益旺盛,對外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)人才的素質(zhì)要求也日益提高。為此,我們特編寫本書,目的就是提高高職高專學(xué)生從事外經(jīng)貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)的能力,從而培養(yǎng)既熟悉外貿(mào)實踐,又有較高英語交際水平的技術(shù)應(yīng)用型人才。本書具有以下幾個特點:1.以外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)活動中的工作任務(wù)分析為基本手段,針對進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易活動順序來設(shè)計教材內(nèi)容(包括交易的準(zhǔn)備階段寫作、交易的磋商階段寫作、合同的履行階段寫作、其他信函寫作、綜合寫作技能訓(xùn)練等)。  根據(jù)《教育部關(guān)于全面提高高等職業(yè)教育教學(xué)質(zhì)量的若干意見》(教高·[2006]16號)的精神,結(jié)合課程的特點,本書以職業(yè)工作過程為導(dǎo)向進(jìn)行內(nèi)容設(shè)計,使獨立、離散的知識點得到有機(jī)串接,改變了理論教學(xué)與實踐教學(xué)脫節(jié)的狀況,實現(xiàn)了學(xué)科課程向工作體系課程的跨越。這是本書與以往同類型教材的截然不同之處,也是本書的最大特色。  2.注重學(xué)生的參與性和實踐性,強(qiáng)調(diào)與學(xué)生的互動和交流?! ≈逃颐商厮罄f過:“我聽到的,我忘記了;我看到的,我理解了;我做過的,我記住了?!倍嗄甑慕虒W(xué)實踐使我們深深地認(rèn)識到了在職業(yè)教育教學(xué)中注重學(xué)生的參與性和實踐性,強(qiáng)調(diào)與學(xué)生的互動和交流,以及“邊學(xué)邊練”的重要性。所以,在教材的編寫過程中,我們做到了合理取舍,精心編排,切實以真實的工作過程為載體設(shè)計教學(xué)內(nèi)容,強(qiáng)化學(xué)生職業(yè)能力的培養(yǎng)。為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的動手能力,本書在每一個任務(wù)項目中都安排了兩個小欄目——“課堂討論”、“寫作實踐”,這兩個小欄目便于學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)典型樣信之后歸納出寫作要點,通過練習(xí)掌握寫作技巧;在每一個任務(wù)項目后都配有寫作訓(xùn)練案例,這樣可以強(qiáng)化學(xué)生的寫作能力。為了強(qiáng)化學(xué)生的綜合寫作能力,本書的最后一個單元還安排了“綜合技能訓(xùn)練”,從“交易的準(zhǔn)備”、“交易的磋商”一直到“交易的履行”及日常的信函往來,對整個外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)信函往來過程進(jìn)行了綜合模擬設(shè)計。

  The effectuation of shipment signifies the seller s fulfillment of the obligation tomake delivery of the goods. So far as foreign trade is concerned, shipment is mostlymade by ocean vessels, tramp or liner. With the rapid development of internationaltrade, transportation facilities have greatly improved to meet the demand.  In practice, shipment involves such procedures as booking shipping space orchartering a ship, clearing the goods through the customs, completing shippingdocuments, dispatching shipping advice and shipping instruction.  Letters regarding shipment are usually written for the following purposes:tocharter a ship, to urge an early shipment;to amend shipping terms;to give shippingadvice and shipping instruction;to dispatch shipping documents and so on.  1. We should be glad if you could manage to ship the goods by s/sDONGFENG sailing from Shanghai on May 1".  2. We shall appreciate it if you will effect shipment as soon as possible, thusenabling our buyers to catch the brisk demand at the start of the season.  3. We hope that by the time you receive this letter, you will have the goodsready for shipment.
