高等學(xué)校外語專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會英語組于2000年3月修訂的《高等學(xué)校英語專業(yè)英語教學(xué)大綱》明確規(guī)定了高等學(xué)校英語專業(yè)的培養(yǎng)目標:“高等學(xué)校英語專業(yè)培養(yǎng)具有扎實的英語語言基礎(chǔ)和廣博的文化知識并能熟練地運用英語在外事、教育:經(jīng)貿(mào)、文化、科技、軍事等部門從事翻譯、教學(xué)、管理、研究等工作的復(fù)合型英語人才?!边@樣的描述為我們編寫英語專業(yè)教材和組織英語專業(yè)教學(xué)提供了重要依據(jù)。我校在長期的外語教學(xué)和研究實踐中踐行“明德尚行,學(xué)貫中西”的校訓(xùn),著力推進外語與專業(yè)的融合,致力于培養(yǎng)一專多能、“雙高”(思想素質(zhì)高、專業(yè)水平高)、“兩強”(外語實踐能力強、信息技術(shù)運用能力強)、具有國際視野和創(chuàng)新意識的國際通用型人才。這要求全面提高學(xué)生的綜合素質(zhì)。包括拓寬人文學(xué)科知識,加強人文素質(zhì),培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新精神,提高獨立分析問題和解決問題的能力。
