《參數(shù)化原型》以2009年舉行的同名國際建筑展為基礎(chǔ),經(jīng)過增補(bǔ)論文發(fā)展而成。
本書第一章首先從總體對當(dāng)今國際建筑界的參數(shù)化設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)行了綜合論述。來自國際知名學(xué)府的著名學(xué)者Tom Verebes,Mark
Burry,Ingeborg Rocker和Christopher Hight的4篇主題文章闡述了這一思潮的背景。
第二章選出了國際建筑界最活躍的16個(gè)建筑事務(wù)所,將他們的實(shí)踐分為六個(gè)主題:生成系統(tǒng)、分析與反饋、合成運(yùn)用、文件和溝通、管理、原型和生產(chǎn)。每個(gè)主題下包括2-3篇國際知名的建筑師或?qū)W者撰寫的專題文章,同時(shí)包括2-3個(gè)國際知名的建筑師事務(wù)所的設(shè)計(jì)作品。圖文并茂,從不同方面深入闡述了參數(shù)化設(shè)計(jì)的特點(diǎn)和實(shí)踐應(yīng)用。
第三章展示了本書編者和策展團(tuán)隊(duì)對參數(shù)化設(shè)計(jì)的理解和在中國實(shí)踐可能性的探討。
第四章以對2009年舉行的同名國際建筑展的簡短回顧結(jié)束本書。
本書緊跟時(shí)代潮流,討論了當(dāng)今建筑界的熱點(diǎn)問題,匯集了國際建筑界最活躍的建筑師和理論家的著述和作品,適合建筑學(xué)、城市規(guī)劃、景觀設(shè)計(jì)、室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)等相關(guān)設(shè)計(jì)專業(yè)師生借鑒與學(xué)習(xí),也適合相關(guān)專業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)師閱讀與收藏。
作者簡介
湯姆·維爾伯斯是香港大學(xué)建筑系副教授和主管教學(xué)的副系主任。他于1997年-2009年在倫敦的建筑聯(lián)盟設(shè)計(jì)研究實(shí)驗(yàn)室(AADRl)任聯(lián)合課程主任,講授研究生院碩士課程的設(shè)計(jì)課和討論課。他也是建筑聯(lián)盟(AA)上海訪問學(xué)校的課程主任和斯圖加特州立藝術(shù)和設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院(ABK
Stuttgart)的前客座及訪問教授。湯姆是專門化設(shè)計(jì)顧問網(wǎng)絡(luò)OCEAN.CN的創(chuàng)始人和創(chuàng)意總監(jiān)。OCEAN.CN以香港為基地,與北京、上海、倫敦緊密聯(lián)系,致力于中國和亞洲區(qū)域的都市和建筑項(xiàng)目。湯姆也曾在歐洲、北美、亞洲和中東多地從事寫作、出版、展覽和演講等各類學(xué)術(shù)活動。
劉延川于1996年本科畢業(yè)于天津大學(xué),2002年碩士畢業(yè)于倫敦建筑聯(lián)盟設(shè)計(jì)研究實(shí)驗(yàn)室(AADRL)。他曾任職于深圳和北京多家設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)。2011年與佟曉威共同發(fā)起成立中旭數(shù)字建筑工作室(C
Office)。在建筑實(shí)踐的同時(shí),劉延川還參與教學(xué),研究,出版,展覽,論壇等各類工作領(lǐng)域。他目前的研究方向主要集中在參數(shù)化設(shè)計(jì)和中國傳統(tǒng)文化相結(jié)合的相關(guān)理論和實(shí)踐應(yīng)用。
徐豐是XWG工作室合伙人。他畢業(yè)于英國建筑聯(lián)盟建筑學(xué)院,致力于矢量力場和流體城市的研究,其研究項(xiàng)目被廣泛展出和出版。他曾在英國Zaha
Hadid事務(wù)所工作,設(shè)計(jì)了開羅、布里斯本、和墨爾本等數(shù)個(gè)超高層項(xiàng)目。2008年回到國內(nèi),他逐漸把其研究推廣到教學(xué),研究和實(shí)踐領(lǐng)域。徐豐被邀請任教學(xué)于哈佛-清華聯(lián)合Studio、清華非線性Studio、AA上海和北京環(huán)球訪校。他還是2010年北京建筑雙年展中國區(qū)策展人。
Tom Verebes is Associate Dean (Teaching & Learning) in the
Faculty of Architecture and Associate Professor in the Department
of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. Formerly Co-Director of the AA
Design Research Lab (DRL) at the Architectural Association in
London, where he had taught design studio and seminars in the
post-professional MArch course from 1997-2009. He is the Director
of the AA Shanghai Visiting School as well as a former
Guest/Visiting Professor at ABK Stuttgart. Tom is the founder and
Creative Director of OCEAN.CN, a consultancy network
of specialist design
consultants based in Hong Kong, with links to Beijing, Shanghai, and
London, working on urban and architectural projects in China and
the Asian region. Tom has written,
published, exhibited and lectured extensively in Europe, North
America, Asia and the Middle East.
Liu Yanchuan received a
degree in Architecture from Tianjin University prior to completing
his MArch (Architecture & Urbanism) from the Architectural
Association Design Research Laboratory (AADRL) in London. He has
over 16 years of design experience working with various
architectural design practices. In 2011, Yanchuan founded C Office
together with Tong Xiaowei. Alongside of architectural practice, he
is also active in the teaching, research, publishing, and public
forums in architecture. His interest focuses on the theoretical and
practical ramifications of crossing computational design logics and
traditional Chinese culture in architecture.
Xu
Feng is the partner of XWG Studio in Beijing. Feng studied the
Design Research Lab of the Architectural Association in London,
engaging the research of vector field and fluid dynamics, which the
thesis project Vectorscape has been widely published and exhibited.
Feng’s work experience in London, Beijing and New York includes
Zaha Hadid Architects, where he worked on several high-rise towers
in Cairo, Brisbane and Melbourne. Feng has been invited to teach
various research studios and workshops like in Harvard-Tsinghua
Joint Studio, Nonlinear Studio of Tsinghua Univ., AA Shanghai
Summer School, and AA Beijing Winter School, etc. He also curated
China Section in Beijing Biennale 2010.
