前言
隨著我國職業(yè)教育改革與發(fā)展的不斷深入,堅持以就業(yè)為導向,構(gòu)建以能力為本位,以基本職業(yè)素質(zhì)和職業(yè)能力培養(yǎng)為主線,以模塊化課程結(jié)構(gòu)為主體,凸顯高職與行業(yè)特色的課程體系,培養(yǎng)適合市場需求的高素質(zhì)勞動者和實用型技術(shù)人才,已成為當前高等職業(yè)院校課程改革面臨的重要課題。模塊化教學是國際勞工組織為提高勞動者素質(zhì)開發(fā)出的技能培訓模式,是目前高職教育普遍認可的教育模式,也是職業(yè)教育的成功經(jīng)驗。高職教育應(yīng)以行業(yè)需求為導向,高職院校旅游管理類專業(yè)教育與旅游行業(yè)聯(lián)系緊密,其專業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)更應(yīng)體現(xiàn)其職業(yè)和崗位的特點。近年來,許多高職院校的旅游管理類專業(yè)均結(jié)合自身辦學優(yōu)勢、專業(yè)特點和行業(yè)實際,在教學改革上做了大膽嘗試,積極開展模塊化教學研究,并取得了較為豐碩的成果。但將模塊教學改革及課堂實踐的理論貫穿于整個課程體系的建設(shè)并用以踐行成套教材的編寫,尤為鮮見。一般來講,高職模塊化教學就是從崗位驅(qū)動入手,確定專業(yè)的職業(yè)能力培養(yǎng)目標,根據(jù)該目標將教學課程分解為若干模塊,學生可根據(jù)自身興趣精修不同模塊,以實現(xiàn)不同的分目標,達到就業(yè)需求。而模塊劃分的最大特點是非學科完整性,是行動導向性的,更有利于開展課堂教學活動。模塊的劃分是以主題為中心把相關(guān)的知識組織到了一起,使之更加貼近生活、貼近學生需要,使內(nèi)容變得更容易操作,有利于學生在活動中學習,在學習中活動。這些優(yōu)點相對于傳統(tǒng)教學有許多創(chuàng)新,也有非常好的效果。但對于教材的編寫來說,卻有相當難度。其主要原因是在教材的編撰過程中,模塊的劃分沒有統(tǒng)一標準,也沒有較成熟的方法借鑒,編寫者往往很難把握其尺度。尤其對于基礎(chǔ)理論課程教材的編撰,更是難以把握?;诖?,我們組織了涵蓋業(yè)內(nèi)權(quán)威專家及有著豐富教學經(jīng)驗及旅游企業(yè)管理經(jīng)驗的教授、學者和骨干教師的作者團隊,對此進行了積極、有效的探索。

插圖:The work of a tour guide is always attended by many difficulties. He of- ten works alone and has to attend to individual needs. He has many roles to play. He may be very tired,but he has to remain smiling.Man proposes, God disposes. It is especially true in the tourism industry. Many unexpected things turn up in the work. No matter how much work has planned,things will happen out of expectation. No matter how hard a tour guide has worked, complaints are unavoidable. Flights may be delayed, even cancelled. Hotels may be overbooked. Rooms may be too warm or too cool. Food may be not very tasty. Roads may be too bumpy. Scenic spots may be too crowded. A guest may be too particular to please. In all these cases, a tourguides should never lose patience, never lose temper, never quarrel with theco-workers, never to be rude. Keep smiling!As for a tour guide, one must know service, a universal principle, whichis made up of seven words, smile, excellence, readiness, viewing, invitation,creativeness and eye. According to the principle, smile ranks top among theseven. A tour guide should always smile. The perpetual smile should not beinfluenced by one's own emotions. In spite of pressure, fatigue or sadness, atour guide should always smile to the guests. Once the guide is sad, the guestsmay be infected. The tour guide is the soul of the group, and his smile is im-portant to cheer the guests up.
