作者簡(jiǎn)介

魯迅(1881年—1936年)，浙江紹興人，原名周樹(shù)人。中國(guó)現(xiàn)代文學(xué)家、思想家、革命家。 
    魯迅是中國(guó)文化革命的主將，被譽(yù)為中國(guó)現(xiàn)代文學(xué)之父。 
    其代表作有《吶喊》、《彷徨》、《故事新編》、《朝花夕拾》、《中國(guó)小說(shuō)史略》、《野草》、《墳》、《華蓋集》、《南腔北調(diào)集》等。

看朝花夕拾，很喜歡魯迅的文章，字詞很真實(shí)。因?yàn)檫@本是中英文對(duì)照，所以給孩子買了，該上初中了，希望對(duì)他有幫助。

　　I just bought two of English version of Lu Xun's works: Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk and Wild Grass, both are translated by the famous translator couple Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang and published by Foreign Languages Press.Lu Xun's articles are my favourites so I couldn't help reading them once I got them. In the period shorter than one day, I've found three errors in one areticle (From Hundred-Plant Garden to Three-Flavour Study) and one preface (preface of Wild Grass) in the two books: two misprints and one wront note.
　　The first misprint is in Wild Grass. Because right now it isn't on my hand so I'll show it later.
　　The second misprint:
　　Note 2 on p. 82: Runtu, whose real name was Zhang Yunshui, is mentionged in Luxun’s story “My Old Home”. He was a peasant’s son and Lun Xun’s childhood playmate.
　　“mentionged” is obviously a misprint.
　　The wrong note:
　　Note 1 on p. 80: See note on p. 40. Here Lu Xun only means that the family name of the purchasers was Zhu.
　　Here this note is for “Zhu Xi” and it says “see note on p. 40”, I know what the note wants to tell us is that the description of Zhu Xi is already provided on p. 40 thus there’s no need to repeat it here. I wanted to see how Mr. Zhu is described in English so immediately I turned to p. 40, only to find nothing related. Why? Typesetting is changed but the notes are not reviewed? Dear me! I thought the new version shouldn’t have significant difference from the older one so I searched page by page and found the note of Zhu Xi on p. 46. A very long and detailed one.
　　I've found three errors in only two articles and it's only a start. Mr. and Mrs. Yang, Mr. Lun Xun, if you were still alive today, what would be your comments?
