本套叢書是由清華大學(xué)出版社和中國工程圖學(xué)學(xué)會圖學(xué)教育專業(yè)委員會共同策劃的?! ‰p語教學(xué)是近年來國內(nèi)高校的教學(xué)改革熱點(diǎn)之一,目前在數(shù)十所高校中已經(jīng)開展了制圖課程的雙語教學(xué)?! 哪壳皣鴥?nèi)開展雙語教學(xué)的高校使用的教材來看,大體上有以下幾種情況:①直接選用歐美原版教材;②中國的制圖教師根據(jù)我國的教學(xué)基本要求改編的原版教材,并以附錄的形式講解投影法和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)方面的差異;⑧中國的制圖教師編寫的英文教材;④中國的制圖教師編寫的中英文對照的雙語教材等?! 榱私o我國高校的制圖教師開展雙語教學(xué)時提供更多的教材選擇,也為了使我國高校的廣大師生對美國制圖課程的現(xiàn)狀有更多的了解,清華大學(xué)出版社和中國工程圖學(xué)學(xué)會圖學(xué)教育專業(yè)委員會決定出版這套叢書。經(jīng)過編委會一年多的分析與研究,我們從數(shù)十本美國原版教材中選擇了6本構(gòu)成了本套叢書,分別為機(jī)械類的制圖教材兩本,近機(jī)械類與非機(jī)械類的制圖教材兩本,CAD與計算機(jī)圖形學(xué)方面的教材兩本。需要說明的是美國的制圖教材并未按照上述方式分類,所謂不同的類別是由本套叢書的編委會根據(jù)其內(nèi)容來確定的?! ∮捎诿绹娼滩牡膬?nèi)容遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)多于我國同類教材的內(nèi)容,編委會根據(jù)我國的實(shí)際情況,以“教學(xué)基本要求”為依據(jù),對其內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了刪減,在這一過程中,未對原版教材作任何改寫,以保證其“原汁原味”的風(fēng)格。我們希望通過這種方法,給開展制圖課雙語教學(xué)的院校提供一套既能保持原版教材風(fēng)貌,又符合我國實(shí)際情況的英語教材?! ∽詈?,清華大學(xué)出版社及本套叢書的編委會對積極提供樣書供編委會選擇的美國麥格勞.希爾公司和培生公司表示衷心的感謝,是他們的積極配合使得這套叢書得以順利出版?! ∠抻诟木幷叩乃?,書中不當(dāng)之處在所難免,歡迎廣大讀者批評指正。
