內(nèi)容概要

隨著我國旅游事業(yè)的飛速發(fā)展,旅游市場對旅游服務(wù)與管理人才的素質(zhì)提出了更高的要求,這對旅游英語專業(yè)教學(xué)是一個嚴(yán)峻的挑戰(zhàn)。我們迫切需要培養(yǎng)出既通曉旅游管理專業(yè)知識,又具備英語交際能力的旅游服務(wù)及管理人才?!堵糜斡⒄Z口語》旨在為全國的旅游市場培養(yǎng)出更多更好的旅游專門人才以滿足不斷擴(kuò)大的市場需要。
作為湖北省省級精品課程及2010年國家外語教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會精品課程《旅游英語》的主干教材、湖北省高等學(xué)校省級教學(xué)研究項目“基于工作過程導(dǎo)向的高職高專旅游英語課程開發(fā)研究”的成果之一,在編寫過程中,我們結(jié)合中國旅游市場的發(fā)展與職業(yè)的實(shí)際需要,以崗位工作環(huán)境為情境,以崗位職業(yè)語言為素材,通過對典型工作任務(wù)分析確定旅游英語課程的能力培養(yǎng)目標(biāo),按照工作過程系統(tǒng)化的原則,根據(jù)職業(yè)特征及完整思維將學(xué)習(xí)領(lǐng)域細(xì)化為學(xué)習(xí)情境.以真實(shí)的旅游行業(yè)服務(wù)人員的工作崗位和工作流程序化教學(xué)內(nèi)容,并按照行動導(dǎo)向?qū)嵤┱n程教學(xué)。在教材中體現(xiàn)“教學(xué)內(nèi)容職業(yè)化、課程結(jié)構(gòu)模塊化、實(shí)際操作標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化、頂崗實(shí)習(xí)規(guī)范化”的高職高專旅游英語教學(xué)模式。
本教材共分為十個單元,主要內(nèi)容包括:邀請來訪、準(zhǔn)備工作、迎賓服務(wù)、入住酒店、會議服務(wù)、宴請服務(wù)、觀光游覽、贈送禮品、退房服務(wù)、送行。每個單元由“背景知識、熱身練習(xí)、情景對話、補(bǔ)充閱讀、練習(xí)、拓展詞匯、相關(guān)知識、導(dǎo)游考試輔導(dǎo)八個模塊組成。每個單元一個主題,側(cè)重聽說訓(xùn)練。本教材構(gòu)思獨(dú)特,內(nèi)容新穎,實(shí)用性強(qiáng),使用面廣。按照工作過程中活動與知識的關(guān)系設(shè)計教學(xué)內(nèi)容,突出工作過程在課程框架中的主線地位,按照工作過程的需要宋選擇知識,以工作任務(wù)為中心整合理論與實(shí)踐。本書配有對話和聽力理解部份的錄音及教學(xué)輔導(dǎo)用書,可供高職高專及以上水平的旅游英語專業(yè)、酒店管理專業(yè)及旅游管理專業(yè)教學(xué)使用,也可作為旅游企業(yè)服務(wù)與管理從業(yè)人員的培訓(xùn)教材。

版權(quán)頁:插圖:When overseas tourists TRAVEL to us,you need to be extra attentive.From the moment theyarrive,your guests should feel welcome.You should be waiting at the airport to greet your tourists when the plane lands,take them to hotel,and make sure they settle in comfortably.The purpose of greeting is to establish or maintain friendly contact,and the purpose of manners isto make your tourists feel comfortable.There is some preparation work to do before receiving the group.You should be familiar with the schedule,call first and reconfirm when and wherethe group will arrive.You can ask the information office at the airport for actual arrival time ofthe flight two hours ahead of the schedule.You should be familiar with the group's tour leadersand the TRAVEL agency.You need get the data of group from the TRAVEL agencpreparing the tools such as tour guide card,microphone,guiding banner and the like.The most important thing is to take the busy trafficked situation into account,reaching the meeting place at least half an hour ahead ofthe schedule and wait for guests to come.There are some activities for you to do while waiting for the guests.It is necessary to meetthe bus driver in advance,double-check the route,and sign the bill of renting bus.Keep incontact with the driver and check the place where the bus is parked and inform the driver the itinerary.Make sure that your tour bus call find a place to park close enough to the terminal so that the tourists don’t have to walk far.Also,you need to get in touch with the porters,confirmthe places where the checked luggage will be handed over and where the luggage will b delivered.It is always essential for the tour guide to be familiar with the airport terminal,including the lost luggage claims.  If there is any alternation,the guide should read the new schedule and the notice of the alternation very carefully.For example,if the timetable of flights has been changed,but theguide did not check the new timetable,and still went to pick up the group,when the group of tourists arrived at the transportation port,the local guide will not be available.
